Voter Suppression

A coalition of voting rights and civil rights organizations filed a federal lawsuit challenging Florida House Bill 991, a new law requiring documentary proof of citizenship, arguing it will disenfranchise eligible voters and violates the First and Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
